Althea Exclusives Review

My blog has been dead for some times and I'm back with my first ever beauty and skincare products review, firstly to show gratitude to Althea Korea for the generosity and secondly to revive my blog like finally hahahaha. Anyway I need to mention first that my review might not be a very professional one as I really sucks in beauty and skincare, my friends are so shocked that I don't do much skincare routine in my daily life but yeah I'm old now so I need to learn a bit.

So I have got a few Althea Exclusive products from the meeting the other day and here are the babies:

A body mist, a calming cream, an eye glitter and two concealers of different shades.

Let's look at them in details:

1. Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist (100ml) - RM 35.00

This body mist is the product of Althea's latest collaboration with Titi Kamal, an Indonesian actress and singer. It's a mix of fruity and floral scents which smells really really good! I rarely say something smells good as I'm kinda sensitive with smells that I can't stand very strong smell even perfume. But what I can say is this body mist's smell is really comforting and not too strong, plus it's non sticky and quite long lasting, suitable for daily use.

2. Skin relief calming cream (80ml) - RM 44.00

This is one of my favourite products at the moment! As friends who followed me on Instagram would know, I just came back from Taiwan and my skin got so dry and bad due to the low temperature there. (I didn't apply any skincare during my vacation and I wore cushion, thus many dry flakes on my face.) Then my friends suggested me to go for moisturizer, and I immediately thought of this calming cream that it may help. So right after I came back to Malaysia, I started using this cream once or twice per day, and now I can feel my skin so hydrated while the damage is totally gone. As what I have read from the official website, the key ingredient of this cream is Panthenol which will soothe the skin so it's suitable for dry and sensitive skin. When I started using it I actually read a review that the cream surprisingly heal up the reviewer's pimples, so I decided to try it on my pimples too. (I rarely have pimples on my face and I guess it was also due to a sudden change to different weather?) Guess what my pimples really became less pain and less obvious in two days! Omg I really love this miracle hahahaha. Not to forget not sticky, greasy or heavy at all, I always feel like I have glass skin now wtf maybe it's my own imagination la.

3. Spotlight Eye Glitter (4.5ml) - RM 24.00

Applied it on both my upper and lower eyelid.

Honestly my first time using an eye glitter thing and this product comes in two shades, #01 Gold Light and #02 Pink Light. I got the gold one but I guess it's silver la hahaha. It has a hydrating formula that glides on easily so I think that's why it feels a bit watery, but quite easy to apply! I use it on eyelids mostly like an eyeliner because it makes my eyes extra pretty hahahaha. For someone who draws super imperfect eyeliner like me, I really need something like this in my life that's so quick and simple. Besides it's kinda long lasting too I can say, I once experienced a downpour when I wore it but after my whole body got wet, my eye makeup still looked perfectly fine wtf.

4. Flawless Creamy Concealer (6g) - RM 15.00

After blending. Shade #01 suits my skin tone while shade #04 may be used for contouring.

After applying it on the dark circle area. Managed to cover like 70% as my dark circles are very serious lol.

Concealer is like one of the most important things in my makeup essentials as I have really serious dark circles! (Probably due to my very fair skin tone also my dark circles are always extra obvious whenever I don't sleep well.) I got this product just in time as I had just finished my concealer and thinking what brand to get since the current one's coverage wasn't very good, then Althea solved my problem by letting me to try this. It comes in four shades, #01 Vanilla, #02 Ginger, #03 Honey and #04 Mocha and I have got two of the shades, which are Vanilla and Mocha, the lightest and the darkest. The shade Vanilla definitely suits my fair skin tone and I'm using it everyday now to cover my crazy panda eyes. The coverage is not bad I can say, quite pigmented and easy to blend by just using my fingers. It has the Aquaxyl formula to moisturize the skin too, so it's suitable for long wearing, for example my whole day at work.

Okay I think that's all about my mini review of Althea Exclusive products. I'm still not good at using the correct terms or descriptions for the texture of the products or how I feel after using them, but I'm learning hahaha. Till then, see you in my next post!
