Ipoh And Taiping Trip Part One~

Promised myself to update my blog more often this year but I really have no idea what to post. So after a lot of procrastinations and hesitations here comes my first post in 2015 and the winner goes to my trip to Ipoh and Taiping during last year's August hehe. I know it's not something new (Something long ago tim.) but whatever I hashtag #throwback #buangbalik hahahaha.

The story began on 23rd August 2014 in a fine morning when I went to KL Sentral to meet up with Khai Lun, Kah Kiat and Gordon. Felt sibeh proud because I brought the smallest luggage and the least stuffs among all of us, even smaller and lesser than the two guys. (Y)

It took roughly two and a half hours to reach Ipoh from KL by KTM train. Nothing much to do on the train actually, the television played the same Tom And Jerry series for freaking two hours plus so all me and Khai Lun did were taking selfies, stalking people online and reading novels. (Guess what I only read like three pages.) Anyway they had comfortable seats so you can always sleep haha. But I couldn't. That excitement had gone too deep into my blood. xD

These were all I brought for three days two nights, excludes the plastic bag because it only existed after I shopped in Ipoh and this photo was taken right before I headed back to KL.

With my travel mate and roommate back in China, and we became travel mate and roommate again in Ipoh. :)

Finally reached Ipoh before I freezed in the train it was so cold seriously. Ah Loong, Jia Cheng and Wai Gor welcomed us in the train station and someone asked me why was I so pale gosh I nearly cold to death in the train haha. We went for lunch together and later headed to the association for performances practices. I was so sleepy until someone finally appeared and I had to busy avoiding eye contacts lol such depressing.

First meal in Ipoh of course the famous Nga Choi Gai laa.

After that we went back to Wai Gor's house to take shower and prepare for the dinner later at night. (Actually nothing much to prepare laa since we weren't dressing up for the dinner. We were requested to wear the same yellow t-shirt which we wore for the students exchange programmes in China.) And we KL people were the earliest to reach the restaurant so we went downstairs to yumcha. :)

Sounds like bo eng. ('Not free' in Hokkien.) xD

The power of 5s. No need to meitu at all. xD

So glad to see that everyone in our trip turned up for the dinner, seriously each and everyone of us. I thought there would surely be someone who would ffk but wow everyone were there. Blew water a lot during the dinner so the food were kinda wasted even though they were good. Somemore a lot of time were spent doing the performances. I actually got a lot of steps wrong hahahaha.

Went to Kinta Riverfront (I don't know whether it's correct or not. It has a lot of light decorations like I-City.) after dinner for a walk but it rained suddenly. Strolling in the rain sounds romantic but no one romantic with me so I was like whatever faster finish strolling I'm all wet and super sleepy already. Plus someone said I looked so bad making me so stressed up.

Me and Khai Lun stayed at Ah Hou and Zheng Shen's house during the first night. Upon reaching their house I immediately applied my eye mask then only started unpacking my stuffs. I know I looked kinda scary walking around people's house with my eye mask on lol. Wanted to take shower since I got wet in the rain but was too tired to even move my limbs so at last I only cleaned up a bit hahaha so sorry.

(To be continued.)
